BarMentor AI ("the App") is a US Bar Exam preparation tool for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Short version: BarMentor AI stores all of your study data locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect, store, or process your personal information.
BarMentor AI stores the following data locally on your device only, using iOS device storage:
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party service. It remains entirely under your control and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, we do not use, process, or have access to your personal information in any way. The data stored on your device is used solely by the App to provide its features — saving your progress, personalizing your study experience, and scheduling notifications you have opted into.
If you choose to enable push notifications, BarMentor AI will send you study reminders and daily law rules directly to your device. Notifications are delivered through Apple's notification infrastructure (APNs). We do not store notification tokens or send notifications through our own servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone's Settings app.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing to share.
All app data is stored on your device and is retained until you delete the App. To remove all data associated with BarMentor AI, simply uninstall the App from your iPhone. iOS will remove all locally stored app data at that point.
You can also clear specific data within the App through the Settings tab.
BarMentor AI is designed for law students and legal professionals preparing for the Bar Exam. The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
